According to the senior officer, after seeing gum particles and stamp ink in the passport page, Riyadh Airport officials decided to send Sarwan back to IGI Airport. As per the decision, he was deported to Delhi on Oman Air flight WY-245. Meanwhile, after reaching IGI Airport, Sarwan was handed over to the Immigration Bureau by the airline security staff. After initial questioning, the Bureau of Immigration handed over Sarwan along with all the documents to the IGI Airport Police for further investigation.

To go abroad, with the help of one of his relatives, he met a travel agent named Harjinder Singh alias Gill. Gill had promised to send Sarwan to Serbia and get him a job in exchange for Rs 8.5 lakh.

According to the senior police officer, Gill, with the help of his other associate Harry, arranged air tickets from Delhi to Riyadh and from Riyadh to Serbia. To avoid immigration action, the accused had tried to remove the immigration stamp by removing the visa sticker from the passport. On the basis of Sarwan’s revelations, the IGI Airport Police has arrested Harry and Gill and sent them behind bars.
