New Delhi. Tesla chief Elon Musk’s company Neuralink is working on implanting chips in people’s brains. In January this year, for the first time, a Neuralink chip was implanted in the brain of a human being. Now Elon Musk has given information about the condition of that person. Musk told in an event on social media X that now the person is completely fine.
Musk told that the person can now control the computer mouse just by thinking. He said their next step is to enable more complex intersections. According to Musk, he wants people to be able to control the mouse button just by thinking.

Neuralink has implanted a chip in the patient’s brain with the help of surgery. This device is of the size of a small coin. With the help of this chip, there is a direct connection between the human brain and the computer. This chip has been named Link. Musk says that if the trial is successful, then with the help of this chip, visually impaired people will be able to see. People will be able to control phones, laptops and other electronic products only with their mind.
Permission was given last year
In September last year, Musk’s company Neuralink got permission for the first human trial of the link. This permission was received from the Independent Institutional Review Board. The permission meant that Neuralink could now hire people and test the chip. Earlier in May, the company had received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the trial. The minimum age limit of a person for the trial of this chip is 22 years. At the same time, it will take 6 years to complete the study.
