New Delhi. Hero MotoCorp has launched the Thunderwheels Special Edition of its most powerful bike, Hero Maverick 440. This bike has been introduced with cosmetic updates, while there has been no change in the features and specifications. The company has introduced it in partnership with soft drink brand Thumsup, under which customers can get a chance to win this special edition bike by scanning the QR code present on the Thumsup bottle.
The price of this edition has not been disclosed yet. However, the price of regular Maverick 440 ranges between Rs 1.99 lakh to Rs 2.24 lakh. This bike will compete with bikes like Royal Enfield Classic 350, Harley-Davidson X440, Jawa 350 and Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450.
Special updates of Thunderwheels Special Edition
This special edition of Hero Maverick 440 was revealed on social media platform X, in which the bike is shown in dual tone red and dark blue shade. This color combination is also used in the branding of Thumsup. The bike has a blue finished front fender, red colored front fork, and updated headlight section with flyscreen. The stock mirrors have been replaced with bar-end mirrors.
Its fuel tank is in dark blue, while metallic gray and red colors have been used in the badging. The tank extensions feature “Thunderwheels” graphics and the engine crankcase is decorated in a golden finish, making it stand out from the regular model. The tail section is also in dark blue, which makes the look of the bike more attractive.
Hero Maverick 440: Features and Performance
Hero Maverick 440 is powered by a 440cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine from Harley Davidson X440, which generates 27HP power and 36Nm peak torque. It is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox and slip-and-assist clutch.
The bike has modern features like full LED lighting, Bluetooth connectivity and LCD display. Its instrument console gives information like speedometer, tachometer, gear position indicator, range and mileage. It also includes 35 connectivity features like turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, digital clock, ETA, and phone battery indicator.
