New Delhi: There is an uproar in India over the death of AI software engineer Atul Subhash. There is a demand for justice from every side. Atul Subhash’s wife Nikita Singhania is under the scanner. Meanwhile, a heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Britain. The body of an Indian girl has been found in Britain. A few days before her death, she had told her family that her husband would kill her. Now the question is whether Harshita Brela, an Indian living in Britain, committed suicide or was she murdered?
According to TOI news, Harshita Brela had warned her family just a few days before her death that her husband would kill her. Harshita’s mother Sudesh Kumari says that my daughter had said that I will not go back to her. He will kill me. He is ruining my life. The most surprising thing in this case is that Harshita died in Britain, while her husband is still in India.
The name of deceased Harshita’s husband is Pankaj Lamba. He is the main suspect in this case. Harshita’s family believes that Pankaj Lamba is in India. The family alleges that the local police is not listening to them. Whereas the local police say that the British authorities have not yet sought their help in this matter. The victim’s father Satbir Brela accused Lamba of domestic violence and said, ‘My daughter had told that Pankaj had beaten her a lot. He even beat her on the road. He further said, ‘My daughter was crying a lot, a lot.’
According to Harshita’s family, Harshita had a miscarriage just a few weeks before her death. At the same time, Sunil Devi, mother of her husband Pankaj Lamba, the main suspect in the Harshita Brela murder case, said that she cannot believe that her son could do this. According to BBC news, Sunil Devi said that she does not know anything and she cannot even believe it. He said, ‘Some people are even saying that he has been killed. We don’t know what people are saying. Can’t understand anything. We have left everything to God.
Police suspect that 24-year-old Harshita was strangled to death in Corby, Northamptonshire on 10 November. He was then taken to Ilford, where his body was found in the trunk of a car on 14 November. Earlier, Pankaja Lamba was arrested on September 3 and when she was released on bail two days later, a domestic violence protection order was imposed on her. In this order, he was prohibited from harassing, harassing or threatening Harshita and he was fined 480 pounds for police expenses.
