Cervical Pain Relief Tips in Hindi: In today’s busy lifestyle, the habit of sitting and working for long hours is taking a toll on people’s health. Physiotherapists say that due to sitting in the same position for a long time, problems like back pain, cervical and headache are increasing rapidly. He told that these pains can be relieved by adopting some easy exercises and small changes in daily routine.

Dehradun: Due to today’s wrong eating habits, lifestyle and working for hours sitting in front of the computer, people are facing various kinds of problems. The most common problems among these are persistent back pain, cervical and headache. If this problem is not taken care of in time, it can become serious.

Dehradun’s physiotherapist Dr. Rohit Panwar said that in today’s time, most of the people remain sitting in the same position for hours, whether it is driving or working on the computer in the office. The trend of work from home increased during Covid and even today many people are working in the same way. In such a situation, there is continuous pressure on the nervous system due to which the complaint of pain in neck, back and head increases.

The problem can be very serious
He said that initially when people take this problem lightly, then gradually it can turn into a serious disease like cervical. When we work by bending, the vertebral disc gets twice the normal pressure. This causes strain in the muscles and the pain persists for a long time.

How to protect?
According to Dr. Panwar, it is necessary to work to earn a living, but it is equally important to take care of one’s health. He said that during work, take breaks every 10 to 15 minutes and change your position. Stretch the neck and shoulders, do light rotation exercises and relax the body.

During winter days, be sure to take sunlight between 7 to 8 am in the morning because it provides Vitamin D which strengthens the bones. Apart from this, protein rich foods like pulses, eggs, milk and green vegetables should be eaten in sufficient quantity.

Adopt these measures
He also told that if you use an ergonomic chair in office or home, then sit on it with a cushion so that there is no direct pressure on the spine. By sitting in correct posture and doing regular light exercise, problems like back pain, cervical and headache can be avoided to a great extent.
