‘Happu Ki Ultan Paltan’ actress held a pistol for the first time, told herself how was the experience, felt the strength

Mumbai Actress Sonal Panwar has become ACP in the upcoming story of sitcom ‘Happu Ki Ultan Paltan’. He told that he had handled a pistol for the first time. He also said that the police uniform brings an additional layer of authority and strength to his on-screen persona.

Sonal’s character is ACP Malaika, who has completed her training to become a loyal and honest officer who, unlike her father Inspector Happu Singh (played by Yogesh Tripathi), is dedicated to serving and protecting with integrity and honor. Delivers justice with unwavering commitment.

The story will make the audience laugh a lot

Talking about the sequence, Sonal said that I am sure that this story will make our audience laugh out loud. Playing the role of ACP has been a great experience for me, because I have always played the roles of a teenage girl. However, my personality is similar to Malaika in real life, so getting into the character of a police officer has been challenging and interesting. It was the first time for me that I handled a pistol and wearing the police uniform added an additional layer of authority and strength to my on-screen persona. Talking further about the shooting, she said that shooting the scenes with my on-screen father, Daroga Happu Singh (played by Yogesh Tripathi) was fun.

the character had become dominant

My character completely dominated him, which added a unique twist. I enjoyed it and the entire team had a great time upgrading the character. He also started calling me ‘ACP madam ji’ (laughs). I wanted to bring emotions in my character. Wanted to showcase her outspoken and fearless personality. Sonal said that this bold portrayal of Malaika gives a powerful message of women empowerment to her and the audience.

She said it shows that women can be courageous and beautiful without needing a man to protect them. I hope to be able to play many more characters with such strong messages.
