Actor Varun Badola, who is receiving plates for his role in the latest hit Siara, weighs whether films still need big stars to succeed. According to the actor, if Shah Rukh Khan was under leadership instead of Ahaan Pandey, Siara’s success would not have been translated. He believes that Shah Rukh’s presence would have ended the film itself.

Varun recently appeared on a Youtube podcast hosted by Naydeep Rakshit, where he strongly disagreed with the idea that Siara’s success proves that the stars are not necessary for a hit. He also said that the jawan would have been a flop if Ahaan Pandey would have been under the leadership instead of Shahrukh.
Varun Said, “People are saying that this film has provern that we don’t need stars anymore. That’s not true. Mein Daal Do, Saiyaara Flop Ho Jayegi (Try Putting Ahaan Panday in Jawan, Jawan Will Flop. will not have the personality to run jawan. “
During the conversation, he was also asked how he thinks Ahaan’s career would shape. Varun refused to reply, mentioning that it would depend on his choice.
He also talked about the rise of nepotism and material-operated cinema. Varun feels that the role of the stars fully oversees the equation, referring to, “This is about matching the right talent with the right story.”
