It is expected that this phone will be launched as the top-end model in the flagship series. Edge 50 Pro and Edge 50 Fusion are already present in it. At present, the major specifications of the handset have been revealed even before the launch of the phone. A microsite has also been created on Flipkart for this. Artificial intelligence based features will also be available in this phone.
In a post on X, Motorola India has announced that this upcoming phone will be launched on June 18. Ahead of the launch of the phone, a microsite has also been created on Flipkart for Motorola Edge 50 Ultra. According to the microsite, this smartphone will have a 6.7-inch pOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. According to the claim, the peak brightness of the screen will be 2500 nits.

According to Motorola, the Edge 50 Ultra will have an in-display fingerprint scanner and will also have Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It will also have IP68 dust and water resistance. The company has confirmed before the launch that this phone will come with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. Along with this, Moto AI will also be supported in it. Magic Canvas will also be included in AI features. With this, users will be able to generate AI images through text prompts.
Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will have 12GB RAM and 51GB storage. However, 16GB RAM was given in the global variant. The company has informed that the phone will get OS upgrades for three years and security updates for four years. Apart from this, the phone will also support 125W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging.
For photography, the phone will have a 50MP primary camera, 50MP ultra-wide angle camera and 64MP telephoto camera at the rear. There will also be a 50MP camera at the front for selfies. Its global variant was priced at EUR 999 (about Rs 89,000).
