1. Madan Lal Khurana (CM from 1993 to 1996)- Madan Lal Khurana, known as the Lion of Delhi, graduated from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University. He obtained a postgraduate degree in history from Allahabad University. He started his career in politics during his studies and was elected General Secretary of Allahabad Student Union in 1959.
2. Sahib Singh Verma (Chief Minister from 1996-1998): He was born on 15 March 1943 in a farmer family in Mundka village of Delhi. He obtained a degree in Library Science from Aligarh Muslim University. It is said that at the time of admission, a professor advised him to add Verma after his name.
3. Sushma Swaraj (Chief Minister from 12 October 1998 to 3 December 1998): Sushma Swaraj obtained degrees in Sanskrit and political science from Sanatan Dharma College in Ambala Cantt. She studied law from Punjab University.
4. Sheila Dixit (CM from 3 December 1998 to 28 December 2013)- Sheila Dixit completed her early education from Jesus and Mary School in Delhi. After this, she obtained a Master of Arts degree from the prestigious Miranda House College of Delhi University.
5. Arvind Kejriwal (CM from 28 December 2013 to 15 September 2024)- Arvind Kejriwal is counted among the most educated Chief Ministers of the country. Born in Sewani district of Haryana, he completed his primary education in missionary schools. He was very diligent in studies since childhood and obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
6. Atishi Marlena- (Chief Minister from 15 September 2024 to February 2025)- She completed her schooling from Springdales School, New Delhi. She did her Masters in History from St. Stephen’s College and then did her postgraduate degree from Oxford University on a Chevening Scholarship.
