Bollywood star couple Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif made all their fans happy with their pregnancy announcement in September. Now, the soon-to-be father has dropped a big hint about Katrina’s delivery, expressing his joy at entering fatherhood, and called it the “biggest blessing”.
He shared that he plans to be with his wife during this special time.
Vicky Kaushal talks about becoming a father
Vicky recently participated in the second edition of the Youth Conclave held in Mumbai where he had a candid conversation with Nikhil Taneja on stage. During the conversation, he expressed his excitement about stepping into a new chapter of his life: embracing fatherhood. Its video has surfaced on Reddit.
When Vicki was asked what she’s most excited about being a father, she laughed and said, “Just being a father.”
Vicky hinted at it by saying, “I’m really looking forward to it… I think it’s a big blessing… Exciting times, almost here, so hopefully Katrina can deliver soon.”
Going on, Vicky said, “Mujhe lag raha hai ke main ghar se hi nahi nikalne wala hun (I don’t think I will step out of the house).”
Earlier this month, uncle-to-be Sunny Kaushal opened up about the good news and admitted that everyone in the family is thrilled and a little nervous too. When he attended an event in Mumbai he talked about it to a paparazzo. Sunny told Instant Bollywood, “It is good news and everyone is very happy. We are also nervous as to what will happen in future.”
Vicky and Katrina announce pregnancy
Last month, Vicky and Katrina announced their pregnancy on Instagram, ending months of speculation. They are expecting their first child together.
The couple shared a black-and-white Polaroid picture, in which pregnant Katrina is looking at her baby bump with a slight smile, while Vicky is lovingly caressing her baby bump by placing his head on hers. Sharing the picture, Vicky and Katrina wrote, “On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of happiness and gratitude.”
After dating for a few years, Katrina and Vicky tied the knot in 2021 in a royal wedding at the Six Senses Resort, Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. They never acted together in any film.
