The dietitian further explained that fasting has many benefits:
Detoxification and Weight Management:
Fasting allows the body to reset and regenerate, helping with detoxification. When you fast, the body uses stored energy instead of digesting food, which can boost fat metabolism. This process can aid in weight management, as it encourages the burning of fat for energy.
Improves digestion:
Fasting also relaxes the digestive system, which helps reduce bloating and improve digestion. It may promote better gut health by allowing the digestive system to rest and repair, potentially increasing nutrient absorption when you resume normal eating.
