The delay in the declaration of UGC NET Result 2024 has disappointed many students. Many candidates who appeared in the exam have raised questions on the delay in the results on microblogging site X. Some students have also raised questions on the functioning of the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Many users have expressed concern and anger over the delay in releasing the results. A user named Rajesh Patel wrote in his post, “I think #NTA has forgotten to release the result of #UGC_NET June 2024. Is there anyone who is responsible for the queries of the candidates?”
Responding to this post, another user named Zeni asked whether there has been any response from any official in this regard. Similarly, Hussain M expressed concern over the result not being declared even after 40 days. He wrote, “It has been 40 days since we gave the exam, but we have not received any information yet.” Is it right for NTA to leave students in this state of confusion?”
Another X user Ramesh Sahu wrote, “Why have the results not been released yet? @NTA_Exams @mamidala90 please intervene, we are very distressed. Many candidates are demanding accountability and intervention in the matter from Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Another user Kshipra posted, “Stop playing with our careers and our mental health. Publish results asap!” Another user wrote, “The delay in UGC NET results is affecting PhD admissions.” How long will you keep playing with the future of lakhs of students?”
Dear @ugc_india @NTA_Exams @EduMinOfIndiaIt is extremely disappointing that India’s education system is collapsing and no one is given priority. The wait for UGC-NET June 2024 re-exam result is an eternity. No information, no accountability even after 1 month #ugcnetresult 1/3— Satyam Shukla (@_Satyamev_Jayte) 5 October 2024
The UGC NET 2024 exam was conducted between August 21 and September 5 in computer-based mode. However, due to floods at some places the exam had to be postponed and re-conducted. Even after this, there is a lot of anxiety and disappointment among the candidates due to the delay in the examination results. UGC NET provisional answer key has already been released, and candidates were allowed to raise objections with a fee of Rs 200 per question. But the results are still awaited.
UGC NET has seen many controversies since its inception. The exam held in June was canceled a day after the paper leak was reported. It was later announced that the paper was leaked on the darknet, raising questions over the integrity of the exam. Now the delay in the results has again brought the examination into limelight and candidates are eagerly waiting for the final results.
