American universities can see a decline of 70-80% in enrollment due to visa delays, affect the economy and technical sector.

Crange also warned that these delays may disrupt alternative practical training (OPT) deadline, affecting future H-1B visa eligibility, and a slow increase in the startup ecosystem.
