Delhi Technological University (DTU) is attracting attention with its plans to introduce BTech and MTECH courses in collaboration with foreign universities. DTU AI will launch programs focused on innovation including cyber security and semiconductor. This initiative is in line with the National Education Policy 2020, which aims to provide students outstanding global opportunities in technical education.
DTu’s National Institute of Solar Energy and Quad-Stem Program allows students to participate in international research and exchange programs. Cooperation with major universities in Singapore, Canada and Europe has increased DTU’s global reputation. In addition, the Center is addressing social and environmental issues by setting up new centers such as the Center for Community Development and the Center for Energy Transformation.
DTU’s new courses include:
New btech courses: Graduate programs at Data Science and Analytics, Cyber Security and VLSI Design and Technology, India Semikers Mission and India AI Mission were formed.
New mtech courses: The master’s programs in cyber security, environment, social and governance (ESG), and renewable energy systems focus on solving social and environmental challenges.
Land Statistics: DTU has established the Department of Geophysics and Technology and has launched postgraduate courses in the field.
International Cooperation: The DTU has signed an MoU with the National Institute of Solar Energy, including departments such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and applied Physics.
