Delhi University’s Graduate Entrance Portal, which was launched on Thursday, June 20, included a communally insensitive error, which has created significant outrage. In the mother tongue section, “Muslim” was listed incorrectly as an alternative. This mistake was complicated by the boycott of Urdu, the language spoken by many Muslims in India and was officially recognized from the list, under the eighth program of the Constitution.
Addressing the issue, the University of Delhi called the matter “unknowingly oversight” and said it was an “error” on the part of the Versity. “The University of Delhi honestly regrets the error unknown in its entry form. We accept your concerns and are committed to addressing them. However, it is unfair to hold the opposite objectives responsible for this completely inadvertently oversight.

University of Delhi Common seat allocation system (CSAS) launched Portal for graduation admission for 2025–26 academic year on 17 June. The university is offering 79 courses in 69 affiliated colleges, with a total of 71,624 seats available for the upcoming academic session.
Graduate admission this year will be determined only by the CUET-un 2025 score. Initially, students must register using their Cuet UG roll number. They will then need to provide personal details, educational qualification, category certificate (if applied), and EWS or PWD certificate. Additional documents should also be uploaded on the portal.
While the CUET UG scores are automatically uploaded, students must ensure that all their details are recorded correctly. Based on this information, students can then select their favorite courses and colleges in the second phase.
