Gorakhpur: There is news of relief for the passengers traveling from Gorakhpur to Delhi during the festival season of Diwali, Dussehra and Chhath. Keeping in mind the rush of passengers, Railways has announced to run a new weekly special train, which will run via Gorakhpur. This train will operate between Anand Vihar Terminus and Radhikapur, which will provide convenience to passengers traveling during festivals.
Know when the train will run
Railways has also released the train schedule. This special train will run from Anand Vihar every Sunday from October 6, while the return journey from Radhikapur will run every Tuesday from October 8. The train will pass through Gorakhpur, which will greatly benefit the passengers of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
Train timings and routes
This weekly special train will run with number 14012/14011. This train will depart from Anand Vihar Terminus at 11:45 pm and will reach Gorakhpur at 3 pm the next day via Moradabad, 8:22 am via Sitapur, 11:30 am via Gonda. After this, the train will reach Radhikapur at 7 am on the third day via Kaptanganj, Narkatiaganj, Bettiah and Motihari.
Know the return time of the train
In return, the train will depart from Radhikapur at 10:30 am and reach Anand Vihar Terminus at 6:50 pm on the third day via Gorakhpur. This will provide great relief to the passengers in long distance journeys and will avoid ticket rush during festivals.
Know the arrangement of coaches in the train
This train will have a total of 22 coaches, which include AC-1 first class, AC-2 second class, AC-3 third class, 8 sleeper coaches and 3 ordinary coaches. Apart from this, there will also be 1 generator and luggage van and 1 LSLRD coach. This will provide a comfortable travel experience to all categories of passengers. Railways has taken this decision in view of the increasing demand of passengers during festivals.
