Royals, now streaming on Netflix, have created various opinions on chemistry between their lead, Ishaan Khatar and Bhumi Pednekar.
As soon as Royals fell on Netflix, the series became a topic of discussion among the audience. While some liked the show, many people have come forward to express their disappointment, especially about the chemistry between prominent actors Ishan Khatar and Bhumi Pednekar.

In a recent interview with India Today, the show’s director, Priyanka Ghosh opened about the reviews that he had got about the main pair and what he thought about the rest of the actors.
‘I will try better next time’
“With the casting of Bhumi by Netflix, I was actually very open to the idea of trying this new pair. They are both such powerful actor, and I was excited to see them glamorous roles, which till now goes against both their works. If it doesn’t work for some people, I would try to do better next time.
Zeenat on Aman’s cameo
While the audience wanted more than the scriptime of Bollywood veteran Zeenat Aman in the show, Priyanka clarified that she was always for a special appearance. “It was never a full track. Whenever we have veteran superstars, we crave, we crave more, and the same thing happened to Zinat Maam. The more I loved, the script had only those scenery.”

Directed by Priyanka Ghosh and Nupur Asthana, Royals is a romantic comedy that follows the economically struggling royal family in modern India. The series includes Ishan Khat, Bhumi Pednekar, Nora Fatehi, Zeenat Aman, Varna Samat and Sakshi Tanwar. It was released on Netflix on 9 May.
