The actress reportedly issued an apology and expressed regret over her comments and said she was embarrassed for failing to acknowledge the seriousness of the situation.
“Dear Saif Ali Khan sir, I hope this message gives you strength. I am writing with deep regret and heartfelt apology. Until now, I was completely unaware of the intensity of the situation you are facing. I’m ashamed that instead of pausing to acknowledge and understand what you’re going through, I let myself get swept up in the excitement over Daku Maharaj and the gifts I was receiving,” NDTV shared in an Instagram post. Rautela’s statement was cited. After a few hours, the actress deleted the post from her account.

Urvashi Rautela apologized to Khan after many netizens declared his statement on the ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ actor’s attack as ‘insensitive’ and ‘inhuman’.
In an interview with Asian News International, Urvashi Rautela was asked about her views on the safety of actors amid concerns about their health after an intruder attacked Saif Ali Khan’s Mumbai home.
Calling Saif Ali Khan’s attack an ‘unfortunate’ incident, Rautela also mentioned the success of her film Daku Maharaj as well as her “diamond-studded Rolex” watch.
“It is very unfortunate. Now the Dacoit Maharaj has passed away.” 105 crore at the box office, and my mother gifted me this diamond-studded Rolex, while my father gifted me this small watch on my finger, but we don’t feel confident wearing it openly,” she said. Told ANI.

Incident of attack on Saif Ali Khan
On Thursday morning, Saif Ali Khan was stabbed six times by an intruder at his home in Bandra, Mumbai. The actor suffered serious injuries due to the attack and his children took him to the hospital in an autorickshaw. The actor is out of danger and is currently undergoing treatment at Lilavati Hospital. Police have started investigation and have detained some suspects. No arrest has been made in the case yet.
