The highly anticipated Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle Arc anime film trilogy has officially revealed a 2025 release date for its first installment. Following the success of the previous arcs, Ufotable returns to bring to life this exciting continuation of Tanjiro’s journey. The film trilogy was announced right after the conclusion of the Hashira Training arc in June, generating immense excitement among fans eager to see the next chapter of this surprising and action-packed saga.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle Arc to release in 2025
The announcement of the first film in the epic trilogy included cosplays of Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Inosuka Hashibira. After playing quietly for a while, the characters reveal the film’s release date and a hidden scene.
According to Crunchyroll’s press release, in a simultaneous stream, Takahiro Sakurai (Japanese voice of Giyu Tomioka), Kengo Kawanishi (Japanese voice of Muichiro Tokito) and Daniel Figueira (Brazilian/Portuguese voice of Tanjiro Kamado) revealed the trailer live. CCXP24 event was held in Brazil. It gave fans a look inside Infinity Castle, which will be the battlefield of the highly anticipated battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and demonic leader Muzan Kibutsuji.
Sony Entertainment and Crunchyroll will distribute the film worldwide, including Japan except for select Asian markets. No official theatrical release date has been announced yet. The three-part film trilogy marks the epic conclusion to the award-winning, wildly popular Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series, bringing the final arc to the big screen. A new teaser trailer for the first film has also been released in the English dub.

About Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba
It is based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotoge published by Shueisha and has become a global phenomenon since its 2019 debut. The story follows a boy named Tanjiro Kamado who seeks to restore his demon-turned sister Nezuko by joining the Demon Slayer Corps. The anime, produced by Ufotable, premiered in April 2019 and has since released several successful arcs, including Mugen Train Movie (2020), Swordsmith Village (2023), and Hashira Training (2024), along with a theatrical release.
The Mugen Train film broke records, becoming the highest-grossing anime film globally and the second-highest-grossing anime film in the US, receiving rave critical praise, including a 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll.
