UET UG exam scheduled to be held on May 15 at Delhi centers has now been rescheduled to May 29
The National Testing Agency on Tuesday rescheduled the UET UG exam to May 29 citing “unavoidable issues”. Earlier the exam was expected to be held on May 15. Notably, the change in schedule has been announced only for Delhi centres, while the exams at other centers in the country and abroad will be held as per schedule on May 15.
“All concerned candidates and stakeholders are being informed that due to unavoidable reasons, the test papers (Chemistry-306, Biology – 304, English – 101, and General Test – 501) which were earlier scheduled on 15th May 2024 , have been postponed. Only for candidates appearing in centers across Delhi. The exam will now be conducted on 29th May 2024. Revised admit cards will be issued for candidates appearing in centers across Delhi, NTA said in an official notice.
Notably, the postponement of the exams at centers in the national capital has come hours before the scheduled time.
The NTA notice said that the exam scheduled on May 15 will be conducted as per the schedule already communicated in all other cities across the country (including Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Faridabad and Noida) and abroad, including on other dates (May 16). The National Testing Agency has been ordered by the Ministry of Education and UGC to conduct the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission to undergraduate programs in Central Universities and other participating universities and institutions under the Ministry of Education from the year 2022.
