After discussion with the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Cookie -Zo Council (KZC) has approved the reopening of National Highway -2 (NH2) for passengers and goods movement. NH 2, connects Dibrugarh, Assam, Tuipang, Mizoram in the northeastern region.
“Cookie -Jo Council has decided to open National Highway -02 for the free movement of passengers and essential commodities today. Both organizations node the following conditions –

- For conflict, transfer seven designated camps away from weak areas.
- If any, the strict physical verification of the cadres by the security forces to de-list foreign nationals.
According to MHA, the joint monitoring group will closely monitor the enforcement of the grassroots regulations, and the future violations will be strengthened, including a review of the signed agreement.
