NASA said that the moon will be visible in its full light for three days from Monday evening to Thursday evening. So, you can enjoy the view of the supermoon on these days.
When does lunar eclipse occur?
A lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth comes between the Sun and the Moon, casting its shadow on the Moon’s surface. The extent of the eclipse can vary, obscuring the Moon partially or completely depending on the specific alignment.
During a partial eclipse, the Earth’s shadow covers only part of the moon, often giving it a reddish hue.
According to US space agency NASA, during a partial lunar eclipse, the Earth’s shadow “grows and then retreats, never fully covering the Moon.”
