KVS and NVS Recruitment 2025: Tier-1 exam will be held on January 10 and 11, 2026. Applications for 14,967 posts will end on December 4.

CBSE has announced the exam dates for Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti recruitment exam for teaching and non-teaching posts. The Board has announced several reforms in Notification 01/2025.
This recruitment drive aims to fill 14,967 vacancies in both the organizations. The application process will remain open till December 4. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website navodaya.gov.in and kvsagathan.nic.in.

Exam schedule released
Tier-1 exam will be conducted on January 10 and 11, 2026. “Information regarding the examination centre, city of examination allotted to the candidates, schedule of examination and detailed admit card for Tier – 1 will be made available in the application login of the candidates in due course of time. Candidates are advised to visit the websites of CBSE, KVS and NVS for further updates,” the official notice said.
selection process
The selection process consists of a two-tier examination followed by an interview for the posts like Assistant Commissioner, Principal, Vice Principal, PGT, TGT, Librarian, PRT, Administrative Officer, Finance Officer, Assistant Engineer and Junior Translator. Tier 2 marks will be allotted 85 percent weightage and interview will be allotted 15 percent weightage in the merit list. The interview is of 100 marks.
For Stenographer Grade I & II and Junior Secretariat Assistant posts, the selection process includes a skill test along with Tier 2 examination. The merit list for the candidates who qualify the skill test will be based on Tier 2 marks. There will be no interview or skill test for Assistant Section Officer and Senior Secretariat Assistant posts.
