Nitish Kumar was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bihar for a record tenth time during a grand ceremony at the iconic Gandhi Maidan in Patna on Thursday.

BJP minister Mangal Pandey, who won from Siwan, is facing eight serious criminal cases. According to the self-attested affidavit, after Pandey, the BJP leader who won from Aurai seat is Ram Nishad, who has 5 serious criminal cases pending against him.
Serious criminal charge refers to an offense where the maximum punishment is 5 years or more, a non-bailable offence, an offense against women, or any election-related criminal charge. Criminal charge means any case pending against a candidate in which a court has taken cognizance.
