Canara Bank has announced its Apprentice Recruitment 2025 program for graduate trainees under the Trainee Act, 1961 for the financial year 2025-26. The bank has announced 3500 vacancies for trainee training in various states and center areas in India. The official notification is available on Canarabank.bank.in on Canara Bank’s website.
Candidates will have to register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at Nats.education.gov.in before applying. Only online applications submitted through the official Canara Bank website will be accepted.
The selection process includes a merit list, a local language test, document verification and a medical fitness test. Apprenticeship training period is 12 months, with selected candidates received a stipend of Rs 15,000 per month, Rs 10,500 from Canara Bank and Rs 4,500 from the government through direct profit transfer (DBT).
Canara Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification: Graduation in any discipline from government recognized university. A equivalent qualification recognized by India or Central Government. Candidates would not have passed their graduation before 01.01.2022 and later not from 01.09.2025 (both day inclusive).
Age limit: Candidates should be between 20 and 28 years of age as September 1, 2025, ie, 01.09.1997 and 01.09.2005 (both day inclusive). Age relaxation applies to reserved categories such as SC/ST, OBC (Non-Creeme Layer), PWBD candidates, widows or divorced women and riot-affected persons, as in accordance with government norms.

The application fee for candidates except SC/ST/PWBD categories is Rs 500, for which the fee has been waived.

step 2: Complete your profile on nats.education.gov.in and get a enrollment ID on the NATS Apprenticeship portal.
step 3: Fill the form. Pay the application fee.
step 4: Upload required scanned documents, including photographs, signature, left thumb imprint and handwritten declaration.
Step 5: Submit the application form, and take a printout for future reference.
