BTS members Jimin and Jungkook did a travel series, Are You Sure, before their military service. In the latest episode of the show, the two traveled to Sapporo, Japan. Filmed during winter, the singers enjoyed hot food, drinks, and snowfall while exploring the city. During one of their meals, Jimin talked to Jungkook about his old fight with BTS member V, aka Kim Taehyung, over dumplings. Jungkook talks about himself, Jimin, and V
Talking about himself and Jimin, Jungkook said, “Imagine if we met as friends of the same age. We would be copies of each other.” Jimin replied, “If we were the same age, our teachers would hate us. We would be troublemakers.” Jungkook asked, “What would happen if you, V and I were the same age and got into trouble?”
Jimin remembers getting angry
Jimin replied, “You have seen me and V fight a lot. You have also mediated a lot. I remember, and our fights back then were so cute. They were for such trivial reasons. We could have let things be as they are instead of fighting.” Jimin also shared that earlier his body used to shake with anger. He said that this happened because he was not good at hiding his emotions.
Jimin talks about the dumpling incident
Jimin added, “It happened during the dumpling incident. I could see from the back that V was laughing on the stairs. I could see he was going like this (makes a funny face while imitating V). I couldn’t stand it. That’s when I lost my temper when I saw his head turn back to mock me. It took a long time for me and V to get this close. We got closer after that big fight.”
What was the pakora incident?
BTS members have talked about this incident several times over the years. The fight happened in 2016 when V was shooting for Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth. While he was busy with filming and BTS dance practice, he wanted to eat dumplings in between practice. But, Jimin suggested that they eat after the meal was over as the members hadn’t eaten anything at that time either. The fight that ensued lasted for several weeks.
Jungkook recalls kissing RM
Jungkook said he never got into a big fight with anyone. He recalled, “I remember when I kissed RM’s forehead. RM told me I went too far in that matter. ‘You’re crossing the line, Jungkook’. But he laughed at that too.” RM, aka Kim Namjoon, is the leader of BTS.
How RM responded
Jimin said, “At least three of us were crying. The way you kissed her forehead was so funny. What was even funnier was that RM turned completely red. He didn’t know what to do, it was so funny.” The episode ended with Jimin and Jungkook discussing their tour and shows after their military service.
