‘This is not what BTS promoted’

Seeing their favorite idol receiving mixed reactions, some fans rallied to his defense and pointed out that everyone has their own personal beliefs. He also said that the opinions of BTS members may differ. Some people also said that because South Korea is a war-prone nation, they need to respect idols’ responsibilities as citizens. Since military service is mandatory in South Korea, people are expected to do their duty to their country.
