BSEB Bihar Board Matriculation Examination 2025: Class 10 or matriculation final examination conducted by Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) started today on 17 February. A total of 15,85,868 students appeared for the examination on day 1, out of which 8,18,122 are women and 7,67,746 are male candidates.
The examination was conducted across the state and in two shifts in 1,677 centers. The first innings was from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm and the second innings was from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.

Students got 15 minutes as cool-off time (between 9:30 am to 9:45 am in Shift 1 and between 2 pm to 2:15 pm in Shift 2.

In a press release, BSEB said that its chairman Anand Kishore conducted surprise inspections at various examination centers on the first day and found that the examination was held in compliance with the board’s instructions.
Mathematics paper tomorrow
Tomorrow, Bihar Board Class 10 On the second day of the final exam, students will appear for mathematics paper in both innings.
The board said that blind students will appear for home science paper instead of mathematics.
BSEB Bihar Board Matriculation Exam 2025: Instructions for students
- Reach the examination venue at least 30 minutes before the start time of the exam. Candidates who come late will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
- The board recommends that the candidates reach the examination venue one hour before the examination starts to avoid the crowd.
- Students should take their admit card. Candidates will be denied admission in the examination hall without hall tickets.
- Electrical and communication equipment such as Bluetooth, mobile phones, earphones and smartwatch have been banned inside the examination hall.
