Premanand Ji Maharaj’s advice to Elvish
After this, Premanand Ji Maharaj asked Elvish if he chanted the Divine Name. When he said that he did not do so, Premanand Ji Maharaj asked him to start doing so. “You should do this, even if just a little. You are successful today because of your past good deeds. But what about today? Chant the name of the Lord, what will you lose? Wear a counter ring and chant 10,000 times daily. Will you do that?” After this Elvish agreed to chant the divine name Radha 10,000 times every day.
Premanand Ji Maharaj then said that public figures like Elvish have influence on many people and also have followers. If he practices drinking alcohol, people will follow him. He said that if he chants the divine name in the same way, people will imitate him.
Elvish and legal controversy
In 2023, Elvish found himself in a legal dispute in connection with a rave party case where snake venom and other illegal drugs were allegedly supplied and consumed. On March 17 last year, he was arrested and sent to judicial custody. After a few days he got bail.
