According to a report, this is the second time in the last fifteen days when the candidates have taken them to the streets with their demands.
News agency ANI said that the candidates of teacher jobs in Bihar staged another protest in Patna today, stating that the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) should be conducted before the next teacher recruitment examination (TRE).
Live Hindustan said that this is the second time in the last fifteen days when the candidates have taken them to the streets with their demands. On 7 August, the police resorted to a stick-charge to disperse the aspirates.

According to the Live Hindustan report, the Bihar government has announced the next tray and the next state examination will be held in 2026. However, candidates say that this decision by the government will harm them.
The report said that the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), which is responsible for organizing STET, is going to conduct the examination twice a year, but it has not been conducted for about one and a half years.
In Bihar, State is a mandatory eligibility test for candidates who want to apply for teaching positions in secondary schools. Only those who clean this exam are eligible to apply for government teachers vacancies.
