Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam has revised the exam date of Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) recruitment exam 2024. The exam initially scheduled for December 29, 2024, will now be held on January 19, 2025. The board will also issue fresh admit cards to all the candidates who have applied for the examination from 11 am on January 3, 2025.
Ranoj Pegu gave information about the postponement of the exam on microblogging site X. “TET cum Recruitment Examination scheduled for 29/12/2024 has been postponed to 19/01/2025. “Candidates can download fresh admit cards using their application number and password on the website of Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam (https://madiyamik.assam.gov.in) from 11:00 AM on 03/01/2025.”

The new exam schedule is now available on the official website madhyamik.assam.gov.in. There are two examination papers, each held for 2 hours and 30 minutes. Each paper consists of 150 multiple choice questions. Blind candidates get additional 20 minutes to write the exam.
Assam TET 2024 Admit Card: How to Download?
Step 1: Once out, candidates need to visit the official website of Assam TET, i.e., madiyamik.assam.gov.in to download the hall ticket.
Step 2: Once you reach the homepage, find the link ‘Assam TET Admit Card 2024 Download’ and click on it.
Step 3: Enter your application number and password in the space provided and then click on submit.
Step 4: Once done, your Assam TET Admit Card 2024 will be displayed on your screen.
Step 5: Download and save a copy of it and take a print out for future use.
Students appearing for the examination are required to carry a hard copy of the admit card along with a government issued photo identity card (like Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Driving License or Voter ID Card). PwBD (Disabled) candidates must carry a document recognized by the competent authority in the form of certificate to the examination centre.
