The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has extended the registration deadline for Assam class 10 exam 2026 by 21 October 2025. The last date to apply has been extended as schools and offices, which will remain closed due to the upcoming Durga Puja holiday, the board said in an official notice. Students who are eligible to take Assam HSLC exams in 2026 must go to the official website, sebaonline.org and register themselves. Earlier, the last date to apply was 4 October.
“In view of the closure of schools and offices due to the holiday of the upcoming Durga Puja. The last date for filling the form of HSLC exam, 2026 has been extended to 21 October 2025. The last date to submit the payment is 24 October, 2025. The official notice states that every candidate is in the form of failure to submit these details.
Assam HSLC Exam 2026: How to apply
step 1: Go to the official website sebaonline.org.
step 2: Select the registration link for HSLC exam 2026 from the website.
step 3: After opening a new window, log in and submit using your student credentials.
step 4: Complete the application and send it to all necessary information.
Step 5: Download and save confirmation page for further records.
Assam HS Exam 2026: Application Fee
Students should note that there is an examination fee of Rs 800, a practical examination fee of Rs 50 and the center fee of Rs 350.
Candidates whose parents earn less than Rs 2,00,000, are exempted from paying the examination and the fees of the center whether they participate in the government, or private schools.
In addition, each institution has to pay Rs 1000 as an annual renewal fee of recognition and affiliation of the institution as per the payment last year. This amount is to be paid by the institution and the same cannot be collected from the students by the institution, the notice said.
