Such cases increase in summer
Let us tell you that most of the cases of fire in electric scooters come in summer. These days, there is severe heat in many areas of the country. In many areas of North India, the mercury has crossed 50 degrees. There is a risk of fire if the temperature of the battery increases beyond limit. Apart from this, fire also occurs due to spark and short-circuit due to loose connection or bad wiring. Fire also occurs due to fault in the battery cooling system of the electric scooter.
take these precautions
If you also drive an electric scooter, then you need to be a little more careful in this season. Here we are telling you some tips with the help of which you can maintain your electric scooter in a better way.
Avoid overcharging: Remove the plug when the battery of the electric scooter is fully charged. Overcharging can lead to a loss of battery life.
Do not charge continuously: Avoid charging the battery immediately after coming from somewhere. After returning from a long journey, give the battery time to cool down and then put it on charging.
Do not park in the sun: Electric vehicles should be avoided from being parked in the sun. The lithium ion batteries in them get heated up in the sun. In such a situation, putting them on charging can be dangerous.
Do not keep flammable things: Avoid keeping flammable items like spray, perfume, alcohol etc. in the boot of the scooter. These have a high risk of catching fire due to heat.
