Amazon has started deploying its project Kuper Satellite Internet network on a full scale. Now, all eyes are on the assembly of Amazon’s “Big New Satellite-Internet Nakshatra”, which reports, will rival SpaceX’s Starlink.
Amazon, a company that Bezos launched as an online bookseller decades ago, launched the first batch of 27 internet satellites for its “Kuper” broadband internet constellation.
The mission was called Kuper Atlas 1 or KA -01. It was launched on a United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V rocket, and 27 satellites were deployed at an altitude of 280 miles (450 km) above the Earth.
Reuters reported that the launch tried Amazon’s long -standing $ 10 billion, which was to create a global internet network to rival SpaceX’s Starlink.
The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) licensed Amazon in July 2020 to deploy and operate project Kuper satellites.

Can Amazon’s project compete with Kupp Elon Musk’s Starlink?
Kuper is certainly the biggest bet of Amazon, making it against Starlink as well as global telecommunications providers such as AT&T and T-Mobiles.
Amazon’s Executive Chairman Jeff Bezos had earlier assured that Kuper could compete with Starlink, in an interview in January, tell Reuters in “Uncontrolled Demand” for the Internet.

Project Kupp vs Starlink
On Monday, Amazon’s launch project was the first of over 80 planned launch to construct Kuper Nakshatra, which would eventually disturb more than 3,200 satellites.
“This is a large number, but it won’t set a record,” Space.com said. In particular, the Starlink broadband network of SpaceX currently has over 7,200 operating spacecraft.
Elon Musk’s SpaceX has already launched more than 8,000 starlinks since 2019. According to the Associated Press, the company marked its 250th Starlink launch on Sunday night.

But Starlink, perhaps, is the biggest contestant of the project Kuper, and is growing at all times.
