WhatsApp is such a popular app that it is available in almost everyone’s mobile. Along with WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram are also people’s favorite apps. There are many users who like to share their stories on Facebook and Instagram. There are many people who like to use WhatsApp status. While Facebook is a place to share photos, statuses, videos with a large number of people, WhatsApp is used exclusively for one-to-one conversations, which allows sharing of images, links and videos.
Both have unique objectives and one common feature in both is that they allow you to share text, photo or video with your audience for 24 hours, which is known as Status on WhatsApp and Story on Facebook. Interestingly, many users share the same content on both the platforms.
WhatsApp provides a simple solution by allowing users to automatically share their status directly to Facebook Stories.
To easily share your WhatsApp status on Facebook, you will first have to link your social media account with WhatsApp. This can be done by selecting the ‘Share my status across my accounts’ option in Status Privacy Settings.
Once this feature is activated, your status will automatically be shared on both the platforms simultaneously, eliminating the need to manually post on both the apps. After verifying your Facebook account, you can create a status update on WhatsApp and choose to share it directly to your Story without leaving the messaging app.
To use this feature on Android, follow these steps:
1-First of all, open WhatsApp and select the Updates button, and then go to ‘Chats’.
2-Go to its Status option, tap on My Status, and select Updates.
3-Three dolls are found right next to Status Update, tap on it.
4- Select Share to Facebook.
5- Tap on ‘Share Now’ to instantly post your status update to Facebook Stories.
These are the steps to activate this feature on iPhone
1-For this, first open WhatsApp and go to the Updates tab.
2-Go to My Status and go to Status option.
3- Here you will have an eye icon.
4-Tap on more and ‘Share to Facebook’.
5-Hit on ‘Share now’ to share your status on Facebook Story.
