Kolkata rain: Monday, September 22, Tuesday, 23 September 2025 overnight, heavy rain, thunder, thunder, and strong winds held the capital of West Bengal, Kolkata. PTI Report.
According to the agency report, 30 flights were canceled on Tuesday, and more than 30 aircraft were delayed as the rain had rained in the city of Kolkata.
Airline companies conducted their flights from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport, Kolkata, issued a travel advisor for its customers. IndiGo, Air India, SpiceJet and Akasa Air released their advice for the context of their passengers.

India’s largest airline operator, IndiGo, said in a social media post on X that in case of any possible delay or cancellation due to adverse weather conditions, passengers are recommended to investigate their recent flight situation before leaving for the airport.
“The major routes for the airport in #Kolkata are experiencing heavy traffic today, which can affect your journey time,” IndiGo said in its recent post on platform X.
The company advised its passengers to check the journey route to the airport before leaving their homes and keep some ‘extra time’ to travel to the city.
“If you have a flight, we already encourage you to check your travel route, keep extra time in hand, and review your flight status on our website or app,” he said.
