An Air India flight (AI2403) was bound to Kolkata, after the information of a technical snag was removed from the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. Sources in the airport said that the flight carrying 160 passengers was on the runway and when the issue was detected, they were about to take off.
An Air India spokesman said that all passengers have been abolished, and the flight has been resolved to depart this evening.
“Flight AI2403 The operation from Delhi to Kolkata on 21 July 2025 has been reinstated to depart this evening, requiring a technical issue during the take-off rolls. The cockpit crew has decided to close the take-off after standard operational procedures.
The incident comes only a few hours after a big intimidation before the day when the Air India flight AI2744 left Kochi to Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) after the touching.
Air India Plane Skids away from runway in Mumbai
The incident allegedly occurred at 9:27 am when Air India flight AI-2744 landed at Mumbai Airport. The aircraft touched primary runway – runway 27, but failed to stay on the runway during the recession.
After the touchdown, Air India aircraft allegedly reached 16 to 17 meters from the runway. The Times of India (Toi) said that the aircraft then fled to an unpopper area and on a taxiway, before a stop, The Times of India (Toi) said.
