Bollywood reacted to terrorist attack
The terrorist attack released several Bollywood celebrities, including Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt. Akshay faced X to express his anger and wrote, “Fearful to learn about the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahgam. Sheer evil to kill such innocent people. Prayers for their families.” Vicky Kaushal took on Instagram and wrote, “Can’t imagine the pain of family members who lost their loved ones in the absolutely inhuman work of terrorism in Pahgam. My deepest condolences and prayers.” Sanjay wrote, “He killed our people in cold blood. It cannot be forgiven, these terrorists need to know that we are not silent. We need to retaliate. I request my Prime Minister @narendramodi ji, Home Minister @AmitShah Ji and Defense Minister @rajnathsingh Ji what they will save.
The terrorist attack claimed the lives of 26 people and 20 others were injured. The incident took place around 3 pm on Tuesday afternoon when the terrorist came down from the mountains in the Bairsran Valley and started firing on tourists. Prime Minister Narendra Modi cut his state trip to Saudi Arabia and decided to return to India.
Meanwhile, Samay has been making headlines since an episode of his show, which was made by Got Latant of India after Ranveer Allahbadia’s controversial remarks. Due to Ranveer’s comment on parents and sex, many were filed against YouTuber, Samay, Apeorva Mukhija and Ashish Chanchalani. On Tuesday, the Supreme Court in its show reprimanded the comedian for alleged derogatory remarks about persons with disabilities and people with disabilities.
