Kangana Ranaut is busy promoting her upcoming film Emergency. The actress took to Instagram to share pictures of her latest look for the film’s promotional event. She embraced retro charm by wearing a checkered blouse and a floral saree. Kangana Ranaut was seen playing with prints during the promotions of Emergency
Kangana Ranaut has shared pictures of her promotional look on Instagram, on which she wrote, “Emergency on 6th September (Indian flag).” In the pictures, she is seen wearing a floral print white saree and a check print cropped blouse. The nine yards and blouse set are from the shelves of clothing label Pero. The outfit is part of their Spring Summer 2024 collection.
Know the retro look of Kangana Ranaut
This nine-yard saree has a pattern of pink and green rose flowers on an ivory base. Apart from this, a checkered pattern is also made on the border. Kangana has worn the saree in a traditional style and has kept the pallu on her shoulder.
Kangana paired this saree with a red and white checked-printed blouse that featured a collared neckline, faux breast pocket, front button closure, a short hem, quarter-length sleeves with turned-up cuffs, and a fitted silhouette.
Finally, Kangana completed the retro look with a gold statement ring and pearl-studded gold earrings. The actress and BJP MP opted for minimal makeup to style the saree, which included blush pink eye shadow, rouge-tinted cheeks, mascara-adorned eyelashes, pink lip shade, feathered brows and dewy base. Finally, a side-parted coiffed bun gave it the finishing touch.

Emergency is Kangana Ranaut’s first solo directorial. It is a period-political drama based on the Emergency imposed by the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in 1975. Kangana is also playing the role of a politician in this film. Apart from Kangana, Anupam Kher is playing the role of Jayaprakash Narayan, Shreyas Talpade is playing the role of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Milind Soman is playing the role of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, Vishak Nair is playing the role of Sanjay Gandhi and late actor Satish Kaushik will be seen in the role of Jagjivan Ram in Emergency.
