Before the metro arrives, you will know how crowded the coach is.
You must have seen that digital information boards are installed on both sides of the platform at the metro station. The amount of crowd in which coach of the incoming train is also shown on these digital information boards installed at the station. There are usually 6 coaches in the metro. This information is shown in percentage on the digital information board according to the number of passengers present in each coach. This lets you know how crowded the coach of the upcoming train is and how much space is available for you. That means how much occupancy is there. Occupancy is calculated using a software. It determines the weight in each coach and compares it with the weight of an empty coach and then shows the occupancy in percentage on this basis. This information is visible in two frames for 10 seconds each, 2 minutes before the arrival of the train. However, this feature is not yet available on the platforms of all metro stations. But you will get to see this at most metro stations.

At 50 stations of Delhi Metro, passengers are getting the facility to keep their luggage safe in lockers. But very few people know how to use it. The locker is very easy to operate. You can operate this locker by connecting it to your mobile. You have to first enter your number on the screen given in the middle of the locker. After that an OTP will come on the phone which will be the password of the locker room.

The special thing about this service is that it is completely based on digital technology. This means that everything from locker booking to fare payment will be done digitally. Not only this, you can rent a small or big locker as per your need. You will not even need a key to access the metro locker i.e. to open or close it. The OTP received on your phone will be your password which will open this locker room. If you want to give that item to someone else, then he can also open the locker using your OTP. You will have to pay Rs 20 for small size locker, Rs 30 for medium and Rs 40 for large size.
