Ola Ev Price Cut: Ola Electric has cut the prices of S1 Pro+ Scooter and Roadster X+ Bike. S1 Pro+ is now available for ₹ 1,69,999 and Roadster X+ ₹ 1,89,999. Prices have come down due to the new 4680 battery cell.
S1 Pro+will now have indigenous battery. Bhavish Aggarwal, founder and chairman of Ola Electric, said that now every part of our scooter is indigenous. The delivery of S1 Pro+ Scooter and Roadster X+ will start from Navratri. S1 Pro+ will now be available for ₹ 1,69,999, which was earlier ₹ 1,99,999. At the same time, the price of Roadster X+ has been reduced from ₹ 2,24,000 to ₹ 1,89,999.
Gigafactory started
This move of Ola has come after the operation of the Ola Gigafactory, which is spread over 110 acres, has an initial capacity of 5 GWH and plans to increase it to 100 GWH in a phased manner. Currently, India’s EV industry is dependent on China, Taiwan, Japan and Korea for Lithium-ion Sale. Ola has been buying SAIL from Korea’s LG Chem and China’s suppliers till now.
Booking of S1 Pro Sport begins
Ola also introduced the new model S1 Pro Sport in the Sankalp program. Its price is ₹ 1,49,999. Its booking has started and delivery will start from January 2026. This scooter will come with a top speed of 152 kmph.
Loss in first quarter
Ola Electric has a net loss of ₹ 428 crore in the first quarter of FY26. In the fourth quarter of the financial year 2025, the loss of the company was ₹ 870 crore. But this is more than the loss of ₹ 347 crore of Q1Fy25. In the first quarter of the current financial year, the company’s revenue has come down to ₹ 828 crore, which is 49.6% less than the previous year.
The company will launch a bike of Rs 5 lakh
Ola indicated that its upcoming premium flagship bike Diamondhead, which would be launched by 2027, which would have advanced battery cell technology and Ola’s indigenous AI chip (artificial). Its price is likely to be around ₹ 5 lakh.
