2025 Mahindra Thar has an all-black interior, new steering wheel design, and features such as rear AC vent and one-touch power window have been added.
The first launched back in 2020, the new generation Thar was an immediate hit in the Indian market. Since then, the brand has been taking feedback from customers, and now they have decided to roll out the updated version of the SUV. The facelifted version of the SUV is here to address those small shortcomings. There were some shortcomings that came with the SUV. However, now to address them, the brand has launched the updated version of it which begins 9.99 lakh pre-shagor. There are 5 major changes here which Mahindra has made in 2025 Thar facelift.

1. 2025 Mahindra Thar facelift: new colors
For 2025, Mahindra has added two new color schemes – Battleship Gray and Tango Red. The brand will continue to sell Deep Forest, Galaxy Gray, Stealth Black and Everest White.
2. 2025 Mahindra Thar facelift: new features
Mahindra has taken the response and added facilities in Thar. It now comes with a large touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and can also show adventure statistics 2. This is the same unit we have seen on XUV 3xo and Thar Roxx. There are also steering-mounted controls for audio and phone.
3. 2025 Mahindra Thar facelift: cosmetic changes
In terms of cosmetic changes, the bumper is now finished in a dual tone theme, which makes the front more attractive. In addition, there is also a grill design with vertical slats. Mahindra has retained the iconic circular headlamps which are still halogen units, while alloy wheel design is also the same.

5. 2025 Mahindra Thar facelift: facilities facilities
Mahindra has added a host of facilities facilities that were missing in the outgoing edition of Thar. Now there are rear AC vents for those living in the rear. The power window switch has been taken to door trims, and they support one-touch functionality. The center console now has a sliding armrest for the driver. There are also a grabbing handle on the A-Pillar, which can be used by the residents to catch themselves inside the vehicle.
This is not all, Mahindra has also added a rear wiper and washer and internally operated fuel lid. If you choose the option of automatic transmission, there will also be a dead pedal on the proposal. Customers will now get a rear camera, which will help park the SUV.
