In 1974, Mahesh Bhatt stepped into direction from the film called ‘Manzil Aur Hain’. After this, he made films like ‘Earth’, ‘Summary’, ‘Naam’, ‘Avargi’, and ‘Kashmakash’, in which the society showed the real mirror. The 1984 film ‘Summary’ got a place in the Oscars.
Mahesh Bhatt started his production house in the 1990s named ‘Special Films’. Under this banner, he produced hit films like ‘Raj’, ‘Murder’, ‘Jism’, ‘Jannat’, and ‘Aashiqui 2’. These films not only gave a chance to new actors, but also earned a lot at the box office. The 1998 film ‘Jakhm’ won him the National Award. Along with this, he also won the National Awards for films like ‘Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke’, ‘Tamannaah’, and ‘Gudiya’. Through these films, he made many stars from Rahul Roy, Emraan Hashmi.
Mahesh Bhatt has given more than 80 hit films in his career. Talking about personal life, Mahesh Bhatt did two marriages. He is Pooja Bhatt and Rahul Bhatt from the first wife, while the second wife is Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt from Soni Razdan. While Shaheen is away from films, Pooja also ruled in the 90s. But Rahul Bhatt could not achieve such stardom.
