Your AC should not become a blazing ball, a small mistake can cause a fire, if you know this you will be saved

The heat is so intense that it feels like sitting in cool air all the time. People who have fans in their homes are managing with it. But those who have coolers in their homes are also troubled by the heat. Forget about coolers, the temperature is increasing so much that even ACs have given up. Yes, most parts of India are experiencing very dangerous heat, and in such a situation, many people are complaining that their ACs are not working properly. Many people are troubled by the fact that their air conditioners are tripping very fast, and the compressor is not able to get up. Be it a split or a window, unless the AC compressor is turned on, cold air will not come.

On talking to Salim, a local AC technician in Delhi, we came to know that this is happening due to the intense heat. After the temperature crosses 45 degrees, the AC has to work very hard to cool, and it heats up rapidly. Due to which it trips repeatedly, and the compressor is unable to start.

If run continuously it will cause fire!
It is not possible to live without AC in this heat, but technicians say that while running the AC, it should be switched off for 7 to 9 minutes in between. If you do not do this, then there is a risk of fire. This is because the compressor also heats up rapidly in summer and if it is kept running for a long time without switching it off, then it overheats and the risk of fire increases.

Shade is also necessary- If you have a split AC and its outdoor unit is exposed to direct sunlight, then due to this also the compressor is not able to cool. So what you have to do is put a shade on its outdoor unit. It is said that by doing this the effect on the AC compressor is reduced by 5-6 degrees.

The technician also told that if the AC is shutting down repeatedly due to heat, then an easy thing to do is to put a mug or two of water behind it. If you have a window AC, then water can be poured on the coil at the back. Otherwise, if there is a split AC in the room and its outdoor unit is placed on the roof, then water can be poured on the coil behind its fan.
