The ornate denim is trending again because designers see Y2K-raw shine with modern nature.
Who knew that your pants could be the most additional thing in your wardrobe? While channeling Y2K, ornate bottoms have unethically, the main character energy. And the cool children of fashion are all for this.
Designer Ritvik Khanna’s label RKIVE city is reviving the old denim with hand -applied gems and embroidery. “Ornate jeans feel like a natural revival, as they are inherent in vintage, but are re -prepared through the lens of recovery,” they say.
Even Mannat Sethi, co-founder of grains, agrees. He is “we are bringing back to Mukash Badla, Chikkari, and Spill Sequins, not as a trend, but in the form of texture, memory and movement. The decoration is not the surface here, it is structure, story and soul.”
Celebs are also putting their own turn in a trend. Hollywood actors Blake Liveli and Anne Hathway were seen in Stela McCartney and Ralph Lauren Creation respectively. Close to the house, actor Anushka Sharma discussed social media, when she wore a great pair in the final of the Indian Premier League, while actor Aditi Rao Hydeari showed a disco dream at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
