The XSR 155 is a neo-retro motorcycle that still has modern underpinnings. It has a circular LED headlamp with LED daytime running lamps, a teardrop fuel tank, a ribbed seat and a circular LED tail lamp. It also has an exhaust that takes inspiration from a machine gun and dual-purpose tyres. The brand also offers two accessory kits – Scrambler and Café Racer.
Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is a neo roadster that implements some modern elements like LED lighting. There is a teardrop fuel tank with some attractive color schemes. Also, being a Royal Enfield, there are a lot of accessories that customers can choose from.

Both the motorcycles are completely different in terms of specifications. The XSR 155 uses the same mill as the MT-15 or R-15. It is a 155 cc, liquid-cooled engine that produces 18.4 bhp of maximum power and 14.2 Nm of peak torque output. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch.
Then there is the Hunter 350 which uses a 349 cc, long-stroke engine that is air-oil cooled. It is tuned to produce a maximum power of 20.2 bhp and a peak torque output of 27 Nm.

Underpinning the XSR 155 is a Deltabox frame suspended by an aluminum swingarm with upside-down forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. In terms of braking, 282 mm disc brakes are used at the front and 220 mm disc at the rear. It also has dual-channel ABS as well as traction control.
Then there is the Hunter 350. It comes with a twin downtube spine frame that is suspended by telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The motorcycle stops using a 300 mm disc at the front and a 270 mm disc at the rear. It also comes with dual-channel ABS.

Yamaha has kept the price of XSR 155 1.55 lakh ex-showroom. The thing to note is that this price is initial so it will increase after some time. On the other hand, the Hunter 350 is priced between 1.38 lakh more 1.67 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom.

Ultimately, it all depends on customer preference. If he wants something that has a lot of torque in the low rev range and likes a retro design with a raspy exhaust note, then he should opt for the Hunter 350. If he likes to use the rev range and wants a rev-happy engine with great handling, the Yamaha would be more suitable for him.
