The global launch of the Xiaomi MIX Flip has been confirmed. The company’s CEO Lei Jun has revealed that the company’s foldable was launched in China as Xiaomi’s first clamshell-folding phone. Now the company has confirmed that the phone will be introduced this month. Jun first asked fans in July if they wanted the MIX Flip in their region, and now he has updated the post confirming the launch. There is no information yet on which date the phone will actually arrive.
The Xiaomi MIX Flip is expected to have a 6.86-inch 1.5K LTPO primary display and a 4-inch 1.5K LTPO cover display. Both displays are said to have a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.

The Xiaomi foldable phone could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
As for the camera, Xiaomi MIX Flip can have a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera. It has been revealed that the primary display of this foldable phone will have a 32-megapixel front camera. However, the actual camera specifications will be known only after the official launch.

The upcoming latest foldable phone runs on Hyper OS based on Android 14 out of the box. For power, the phone will be given a 4,780mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
How much could the price be?
The price of Xiaomi MIX Flip in the Philippines is said to be EUR 1,299 (approximately Rs 1,21,162) and PHP 64,999 (approximately Rs 97,917). At present, no disclosure has been made about the Indian price, but it can be estimated from the model launched in China. The price of Xiaomi MIX Flip is CNY 6,499 (approximately Rs 77,068). If the phone is launched at this price, then it can give tough competition to Motorola Razr 50 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 already available in India.
