Kainchi dham: Scissor Dham located in Nainital district of Uttarakhand is a major religious place. This place is famous as Neem Karauli Baba’s ashram, which is considered one of the great saints of the 20th century. Neem Karauli Baba is considered an incarnation of Hanuman ji and he performed many miracles in his life.
History of scissors
Neem Karauli Baba first came to scissors Dham in 1961. He, along with his friend Purnanand, established the Catchy Dham on 15 June 1964. Neem Karauli Baba renounced his body and took Mahasamadhi on 10 September 1973. After taking samadhi, his bone urn was installed in Dham itself. After this, the temple was built on a large scale from 1974.
Why is the scissors called Dham?
Scissor Dham was named scissors because the road between the two hills here is scissors shaped, which is why it is called scissors.
