India’s largest and safest jail Tihar is now under question. India has received a clear message from Britain that unless the Indian government promises that the accused to be extradited will not be kept in Tihar Jail and there will be no inhuman or torture behavior with them, till then no wanted person will be sent to India.
According to the Times of India report, this warning has been given to the Government of India by the Deputy Chief Crown Prosecutor of Britain. This is the same officer who reviews India’s extradition requests and favor him in British courts. This strict stance came at a time when the UK courts rejected India’s extradition request in India’s extradition request in two high-profile cases-two-profile cases-750 crore rupees bank fraud.
‘Inhuman behavior in Tihar Jail’

He even said that if India did not give this assurance, no appeal will be made not only in the Awasthi couple but also in other matters, even if they are in power.
The Crown Prosecutor has said that it is ready to appeal against the court’s decision, but in view of the current situation, it is difficult to assure the favorable result in this case.
