They say that if you sleep for 8 hours every day, you are awake for 16 hours a day. If you drink a glass of water every two hours, the total will be 8 glasses of water. Doctors and health experts advise to drink only this much water.

According to experts, the best way to understand the symptoms of dehydration is to listen to your body. Remember that your body gives you signals of thirst, which you should not ignore. Often people drink very less water in winter because they do not understand these signals properly. Dehydration can be dangerous, but overhydration can also become a problem. Excessive amount of water can cause deficiency of electrolytes in the body, and this can affect the heartbeat. Many times people think that it is necessary to drink 8 glasses of water, whereas the truth is that the needs of every body are different. Therefore, whenever you feel thirsty, you should drink water.

How are signs of dehydration detected:
If you do not drink enough water, your kidneys will not be able to function properly. Due to this, the color of urine may become yellow or dark yellow, which is a sign of dehydration.

How to fight signs of dehydration in winter?
